Happy Birthday CJ!

CJ is 4!

Well, we didn't do much today after the doctor - just kind of took it easy and let Ceej rest and recouperate. Evenings seem to be much better for him, and thankfully he was feeling well enough tonight for a little dinner and ice cream to celebrate what a big boy he's becoming. :-)

The present of the night -

The Wonder Pets Flyboat c/o Nonni & Goucho.
Goooooo Wonderpets. Yea!!!!

Happy Birthday CJ!

CJ update

Took CJ to the doctor this morning. Mornings seem to be his worst time of day right now. He wakes up pale, congested, and lethargic. The doctor said it does seem to be the same virus that hit Brascoe & T, it is just hitting CJ a little harder. We're to give him another couple days and just keep an eye on him.

The plan of action at this point is to just let him take things at his own pace and watch his hydration levels. He has been perking up after about 3:00 in the afternoons - probably due to the morning drainage slacking off and all of the fluids mommy is making him drink. Hopefully he will be back to himself soon. :-)

quick update

Hey guys, I really am going to post the vacation pics soon (no snickering Trey and Dad), but here is a quick update...

All three boys have been sick for about a week and a half. Brascoe started, T followed a few days later, and CJ finally succumbed to it this weekend. T and Brascoe are doing better, but CJ woke up this morning pale, lethargic, and not wanting to eat. I am taking him back in to the doctor tomorrow.

We are supposed to be going out of town for a few days end of this week for a family reunion in Va. Please say a prayer that we will all be well and that we will have safety on our trip. (I am driving the boys by myself since Jason will already be out of town on business.)

As soon as I can sit down for a longer than a few minutes I will pull together some pics from the beach to share. Until then, here is one shot of my boys I have handy. :-)

A picture is worth a thousand words...

Anyone who knows me would definitely say that I have a love of reading and a definite love of books. I had always hoped to pass that along to my children; therefore, it is both ironic, awesome, and especially sweet that the child who can spend hours if I let him in the wonderful world of books is my special CJ.

Ummm......

I think we might need to lower the crib mattress.

How 'bout you?

My scurvy pirate

What do you do with a scurvy pirate?
Raid their ship and then hot wire it.
What do you with a scurvy pirate?
Make them walk the plank!!!
Arrr! Arrr!

What do you do with a scurvy pirate?
Load the cannon up and fire it.
What do you do with a scurvy pirate?
Make them walk the plank!!!

We’ll raid their scurvy pirate ship
and make them walk the plank.
Grab up all their treasure . . .
And put it in the bank!!!

What to do with a scurvy pirate?
Load the cannon up and fire it.
What do you do with a scurvy pirate?
Make them walk the plank!!!

We're ba-ack...

I know, I know - I haven't posted in a while...

We went on vacation for about 8 days and then CJ stayed even longer with my sister, so this week has been about appts, getting everyone home, and getting back into daily routines once more.

I will try to get vacation pics up soon with some recaps of the boys adventures, but until then, here are a few pics of the three boys - all home again and having fun on our back deck...

Yea CJ!!!!!!

CJ decided to try walking tonight! :-D

We were at my parents for 4th of July dinner, and CJ let go of his playpen and tried walking to Goucho and me who were sitting on the floor. By the time we left my parents, he had tried a few times and gotten up to 4 steps!

So, of course I had to try again with him when we got home...

His record for the night - 6 steps! Of course, trying to get a picture of it wasn't very easy as he would take a step or two and then lunge for the camera, but here are our attempts ...

Diapering

Coeby is such a laid back child that of course he is perfectly content to lay back and have his diaper changed by Daddy.
I mean, what child would be so nosy that he would rather do ab crunches than have his diaper changed???
