When you have a child that really does know a lot and often talks older than his years, it is sometimes surprising when his true age shows through.
Thomas soaks up information like a sponge and remembers even more, so I sometimes forget there are some simple things he hasn't yet learned in depth or at least hasn't fully retained.
Thomas is camping in NC with Maw, Da, and Granny this week. This morning they decided to ride up to Dollywood in Tennessee for the day. Thomas's response was evidently: "Tennessee? Do they speak English there?"
Yikes! Looks like I better add Geography to the list of subjects for next year... :-p
